 A Mississippi Summit to Remember
More than 350 attendees, an overflowing exhibit hall and networking as it was intended to be... that’s a brief description of this year’s Damage Prevention Summit.
Workshops this year were at capacity and sessions were full. The topics this year were for the most part determined by attendees from years past who’ve suggested topics most relevant to
them. Much of the event this year
dealt with enforcement issues, asking the enforcement board questions directly, how to properly fill out AVRs for alleged violators and a follow-
up session based on the Mississippi Damage Prevention Committee (MDPC) meetings held across the state this year to determine what, if any, proposed changes to current law should be made and then are we ready to take them to the next legislative session.
The Damage Prevention Summit team wishes to thank the Department of Health and the Public Service Commission for recognizing the value of the topics offered through the Summit and issuing credit hours for
their respective operators.
